Starting a new Instagram account from zero is the hardest part. These 12 steps help creators, small businesses and influencers get their first followers in 2026.
Set up a strong profile
- Clear profile photo: your face or logo, easy to recognise.
- A bio that explains you: say what you post and why someone should follow, in one line.
- Highlights: keep your best stories in highlights so new visitors understand you quickly.
- Pin your top 3 posts: put your best-performing posts at the top.
Grow with content
- Post Reels daily or every other day: Reels reach people who don't follow you yet.
- Hook in the first second: show the most interesting part first.
- Pick one niche: comedy, fitness, food or tech, whatever it is, stay with it.
- Use trending audio: trending sounds help your reach.
- Post at the right time: check Insights to see when your followers are online.
Promote your account
- Collab posts: use the Collab feature with creators in your niche.
- Reply to comments: answering every comment boosts engagement.
- Give your profile a stronger start: many creators add Instagram followers, likes and Reels views so new visitors see an active profile they can trust.
Using an SMM panel the right way
- Never share your password. Only your public username or post link is needed.
- Keep the account public while the order runs.
- Test with a small order first.
- If you want followers to stay, choose a service with refill.
